Join us to watch the City of Mississauga Women’s Entrepreneur Conference, Re-Inventing in Times of Change, that took place online on Tuesday, March 9, 2021. The event was hosted by the Mississauga Business Enterprise Centre (MBEC).

It was a morning of inspiration with keynote speaker, Susan Niczowski, Summer Fresh President & Founder. Panelists included Cher Jones, Socially Active Corporate Social Media Trainer & Online Personal Branding Strategist and Mona Halabi, Supermoon Japanese Style Cheesecakes, Co-Owner. Their powerful stories of change, resiliency and leadership was a source of inspiration and encouragement for women entrepreneurs to learn how to embrace and adapt in times of change.

The City of Mississauga’s Mayor Bonnie Crombie joined the event and provided welcoming remarks. Donna Heslin, Manager of Small Business, Entrepreneurship & Innovation at the City of Mississauga, was our moderator for the morning and led our panel discussion with support from Laura Dunkley, Digital Marketing Consultant (MBEC). Franca Pomponio provided greetings from our event partner, the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario | Government of Canada.
