Credit Valley Conservation Authority
The Greening Corporate Grounds Sustainable Landscaping Assessment and Action Plan is a fully subsidized program that can be used to transition from conventional to sustainable landscaping. Benefits of the program including reducing the risk of property damage from flooding and extreme weather, improving water quality, enhancing the local environment by creating healthy habitat for wildlife, lower maintenance costs, and improving employee health and wellbeing. This program can also be used to qualify for a City of Mississauga Stormwater Credit.

The Stormwater Credit reduces the stormwater charge for a multi-residential or non-residential property. You can apply for a new credit, update an approved credit, or renew a credit that’s about to expire. The property owner must be able to show how stormwater management best practices were implemented to reduce impacts to the City’s stormwater management system. Usually by controlling the quantity and quality of stormwater leaving your property. The Credit Valley Conservation Authority’s Greening Corporate Grounds program can be used to qualify for a stormwater credit.

Green Freight Program
Natural Resources Canada
The Green Freight Program will help fleets reduce their fuel consumption and greenhouse gas emissions through fleet energy assessments, fleet retrofits, engine repowers, logistical best-practice implementation and the purchase of low carbon vehicles. This will be administered through two key funding streams. Stream 1 – Assess and Retrofit provides grants towards Third-Party Fleet Energy Assessments and Truck/Trailer Equipment Retrofits (Up to $250,000 per applicant). Stream 2 – Repower and Replace (launches Spring of 2023): Provides 50% cost shared funding towards fuel-switching, engine repowers and large scale improved logistical best-practice projects in non-repayable contributions provisions.
