The Liaison Officer Service is a free educational program for current and future small incorporated business owners.

The Canada Revenue Agency Info Session will cover common tax errors, general bookkeeping concepts, online resources and how to use financial benchmarks for your respective industries. It will also provide a general overview of the tax treatments for: revenue and expenses, GST/HST, and payroll. The purpose of the seminar is to encourage compliance through education and to provide tax knowledge to new and existing business owners. Individual educational sessions are available and can be booked after the presentation.

Canada Revenue Agency’s Liaison Officer service is a free educational program for owners of small businesses and self-employed individuals to help them understand their business tax obligations. As liaison officers, Blair, Indira and Howard provide support to small business owners by:

  • Explaining common tax errors and general book keeping concepts and best practises
  • providing information on CRA’s online tools and resources
  • providing recommendations on how to strengthen your bookkeeping system and,
  • answering your tax-related questions
